5 Good Minutes

I've been reading a book called "Five Good Minutes at Work" by Jeffrey Brantley and Wendy Millstine.

Here are the general steps:

* Breath mindfully
* Set clear intentions
* Act wholeheartedly

Here's how to get to 5 minutes:

* Breath mindfully for a minute
* Tune in mindlfully to you bodily sensations for a minute
* Be kind to yourself for a minute
* Set your intentions for a minute
* Relax for a minute

Definitions
Being mindful - "open and receiving experience and not trying to change it" (Brantley and Millstine, p. 29)

"When there is pain or frustration, dought or worry, meet it with compassion, softness, and kindess instead of rejecting or judging it or yourself in any way".
