Dublin - Day 15

Well, I haven't had a chance to enter much on my 'blog (not as if anyone is reading this). However, I thought it would be good just to write down my thoughts about the presentation I had this afternoon. It didn't go as well as I would have liked. I should have done three things:
1. Define my research questions first. (I was never presented with a format for proposing a project so I made the mistake of define my objectives first. Perhaps one of my objectives could have been to define my research questions. Realistically, this was my first time defining a research project -- I need look for some instructions on defining a research framework).
2. Situated myself to intervene self-reflexively. What does this really mean? That's tough -- it means to understand my role as a researcher.
3. Champion a cause -- this is "action ethnography" -- the terms and intentions feel ambiguous to me, but I'm learning from my mistakes. Oh well, that's all for now. I just wanted to get some of my thoughts down in writing.
